Minder Media is a Springfield, Illinois-based marketing and technology agency built around one simple idea: local businesses deserve better websites, better systems, and better communication from the people they trust with their marketing.
I'm Dalton Minder, the founder of Minder Media. I work directly with businesses to build websites, CRM systems, automations, Google Business Profile strategies, and Local Services Ads campaigns that actually support the way their business operates.
There isn't a giant account-management team between you and the person doing the work. When you work with Minder Media, you work directly with me.
Minder Media Started as a Side Business and Became the Work I Wanted to Do Full Time
Minder Media started around 2020 as something I built on the side while working in marketing full time.
Before running the agency, I worked as a marketing specialist in Springfield and spent years learning how businesses actually use websites, advertising, photography, video, CRM systems, and digital marketing in the real world.
Over time, the side projects kept growing.
I found that I enjoyed working directly with business owners, solving problems quickly, and building things that they could actually use far more than sitting several layers removed from the businesses I was trying to help.
On April 1, 2025, I made Minder Media my full-time focus.
Since then, the agency has continued to grow around the same philosophy it started with: do good work, communicate clearly, and build marketing systems that make sense for the business using them.
What I Wanted Minder Media to Do Differently
A lot of business owners have had the same experience with marketing companies: long contracts, confusing reports, slow communication, and no idea what they actually own or what is being done behind the scenes.
I wanted Minder Media to operate differently.
Clear Communication
You should know what is being worked on, why it matters, and who to contact when you have a question. You are not submitting a support ticket and hoping somebody gets back to you next week.
You Keep Control of Your Business
Your domain, business profiles, advertising accounts, customer information, and other important assets should remain connected to your business. Minder Media is here to manage and improve those systems, not hold them hostage.
No Cookie-Cutter Systems
Every business handles leads, customers, scheduling, quoting, follow-up, and marketing differently. The website and backend system should reflect how the business actually works.
Long-Term Relationships Without Being Trapped
The goal is to keep clients because the work is valuable and the relationship works, not because a complicated contract makes it difficult to leave.
I Like Working With Businesses Where the Work Is Real
Most of the businesses Minder Media works with are not trying to become the next national technology company.
They're roofers, contractors, pest control companies, landscapers, healthcare providers, nonprofits, home service businesses, and other organizations trying to serve customers well and grow in their market.
That's the kind of work I enjoy.
I like going to the job site, seeing what the company actually does, taking real photos, understanding how leads come in, and figuring out where the marketing or backend system can be improved.
A website is better when it actually looks like the business. An automation is better when it matches how the owner follows up. Advertising is better when somebody is actually paying attention to whether the leads are turning into customers.
That practical approach is what Minder Media is built around.
